Spheer platform launches rebranding

"Carto" becomes "Spheer," new features & more

Since the beginning of this year the name of the Spheer platform has officially changed from "Carto" to "Spheer."

The platform's rebranding coincides with the launch of a number of new features in the app, as well as an upgrade of Spheer's UI.

Recognizability and user experience

The transition from "Carto" to "Spheer" has everything to do with the company's market positioning, where we wanted to align and synonymize company and product as being one and the same. By renaming our app to have the same name as the company, we've made things simpler: one name, one product, one narrative.

Next to this name change, the Spheer platform has also been updated on the capabilities and visual front. For example the UI has been made to look friendlier and more consistent. Features were added as well, such as confusion matrixes. This tool offers users the possibility to check how your trained classification model is actually performing.

With the rebranding and new features of the app, we're creating a more clear, simpler and more powerful user experience.
